Our cat died today. His previous human was a coworker of mine who passed away 2 yrs ago, so we took him in. We loved him immediately. Earlier this week he was diagnosed with FIP, a deadly virus w/no cure. Then I learned there's a new drug that's shown great results w/FIP, but unfortunately isn't approved in the US, so our vet couldn't get it for him. If we'd been able to get this drug, he may have had a chance but we'll never know.
It's so unfair. 💔
