New publication about #disinformation
One of the questions I get the most is whether journalism produces disinformation. I answer that unintentional mistakes (misinfo) are part of the job, and reporters do their best to pursue the truth. However, the mere reproduction of false claims have the potential to amplify the noise. Some BR news organizations reproduced, without criticism, the former president's lies about Covid.
