Sanjay Thakur@rbreich Technically top 4 US banks are nationalised and for that matter all SIB enjoy the same protection .US has 13K banks in 70s and 4K now but recent developments will reduce these numbers to less than half as the pace of deposit shift empty till of most small banks anyways .This will further exacerbate risk and not sure if traditional banking model needs to continue or alternate model with overhauled tradefi is the need of the hour .
