A reminder to non-Americans: assigning Pi Day to 22nd July is not only more accurate than 3.14 (22/7 is 3.14285), it's also more likely to annoy Americans.
@jameswallis This will be an unpopular opinion but 3/14 is better for Pi Day because 22/7 gives the impression that Pi is a rational number. Sorry.
@peterbutler @jameswallis So a rational approach would be to celebrate on March 14, while it would be irrational to celebrate on a day that would make it look like it's rational? ;)

@project1enigma @peterbutler @jameswallis

You may only celebrate Pi on 3/14 in an infinitely short interval between 3:55:35 and 3:55:36pm.
