In 2018 (during DJTs administration), Bernie Sanders warned that loosening bank regulations would risk a big failure. The _Republican_ CBO **agreed** but 50 GOP senators and 17 Dems ignored them.
Bernie also predicted that the same banks that spent $$$ lobbying for the de-regulation would come begging for a bailout when it happened. He was right again.
