People who support this know absolutely nothing about our history as a community and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Fuck them.

This is just a tactic to buy acceptance by throwing half the community under the bus (read: kill).

I just want to tell these people this: one day they will come for you too. And at that point, no one is gonna be there to protect you.

@Metamedia I don't know why, but reading this just makes me laugh. They really think that cutting us out is going to make them favourable to the elites or something? Or is this an attempt at drawbridging - they have their rights protected, so the rest of us shouldn't?

@yassie_j I feel it's the former because one argument that is often made by these peeps is that the rates of lgbtq+ acceptance are now going down, and they see it as the result of all this "gender nonsense".

So they are probably thinking that, by cutting a piece of the boat, the titanic won't sink

@Metamedia is insane to think that this is a recent phenomenon in UK politics. Theresa May was pro-trans. The LGB Alliance have always existed, but they've always been seen as weirdos. Now we have a government with their friends in office. It's a top-down normalisation.

@orangelantern @yassie_j sorry to be so pessimistic, but this will eventually reach every country because the reality of the fact is that no one has an economic plan to solve the big issues we are facing now, so they just want to use our community as massive scapegoats
