Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah
The sedimentary rocks that form Bryce Canyon National Park's sandstone cliffs were deposited in a lake and floodplain system 50 million years ago. They have been eroded into spires, hoodoos, and towers that make the Park one of the most beautiful in the US. The sentinels of rusty-red, orange, and peach stand guard against time itself.
