I hate my Linksys routers so much. Their app is almost completely useless, so you pretty much have to fall back to the router’s UNBELIEVABLY SLOW web server interface. They hide a bunch of settings behind a tiny button that says “CA.” Nothing is clear in any of their interfaces.

Right now I’ve got an issue where my main router went nuts, and when I reset it and added back the mesh nodes, one of the nodes kept an older network name. So now I have two networks. Yay?

There doesn’t seem to be any way to fix this except to remove all three mesh nodes and reset them, except resetting these nodes most often just fails. I know, that sounds crazy, but it’s true. They’ll just come back with the same data. Also, it’s SUPER slow. They take MINUTES to boot up.

@wjs if you can ever advocate from inside.. would love to see Airport come back as a modern mesh system
