Anyone knows a rule that allows my white pawn on h5 capture black pawn on g5 by jumping diagonally to g6? First time I hear about this
@vlad It's called "en passant". It prevents the black pawn from escaping capture on the 3rd or 6th rank by moving 2 spaces instead of 1 on its first move.
@dustyburwell I understand now. Also this video from @chesscom explains it. https://youtu.be/c_KRIH0wnhE
