It's time we took action to reduce our noise in the oceans. So much of what we do acoustically at sea is incredibly harmful, and much of it is unnecessary. Who needs seismic airguns to scout for new oil and gas reserves? Military sonar should be restricted wherever possible. Shipping noise can be quieted a number of ways.
