CDC say this: "the virus that causes COVID-19, can have lasting effects on nearly every organ and organ system of the body weeks, months, and potentially years after infection"

How the fuck is this not news everywhere?

Why isn't it big news?

At least in the US, most conservatives do not believe or trust doctors and infectious disease experts because former President Trump downplayed the effects of COVID-19.

Hell, over 1 million Americans have died of the diese and my conservative friends still say the whole thing was a hoax.

As a nation, we should be embarrassed but we don't even call out people who call COVID a hoax 3 years latter. I do but I'm a nobody.
