The NY Times continues to normalize extremists, none more dangerous than Florida's radical-right governor.
Journalistic business as usual -- in the face of existential threats to our democracy -- runs deep and wide in the Times' political coverage. And it is clear that the Times' top executives want it that way.
@dangillmor I mean, his wish list includes:
- Denigrate Educators and destroy the Florida Education System
- Violate the 1st Amendment
- Trample Women's Rights
- Limit parental right with regards to certain medical treatments for minors
- Prop up his credentials to the extreme right for his Presidential run
As a Floridian, I see the legislature stamping all of these to the detriment of its citizens.
