Oh wow, I can't believe I have 10,000 followers on here already! Here are my favorite things about Mastodon, in no particular order:

1. No algorithm.
2. No Elon Musk stalking my posts and dming me to ask if I think he's cool.
3. No Elon Musk asking me if I really mean it when I lie to him and tell him he's cool out of sheer politeness.
4. No Elon Musk flooding my dms with requests that I tell all my friends that he's cool and not a big loser.
5. You people have said nice things about my cats.
