Second year in a row that the back cracked on my iPhone. Can’t wait until they figure out a way to stop making the backs out of glass. What a terrible material for a phone frame in every regard other than allowing for inductive charging.
Thinking about it some more: The device you’re most likely to drop, and the one that takes the most daily abuse because you carry it everywhere, is the *only* one made with a glass back. It makes no sense. iPhones should be *more* durable than iPads and MacBooks, not less.
At whatever point Apple moves past glass, that aspect of this era of iPhones is going to seem a bit silly in hindsight.
