Extra food stamp benefits enacted by Congress at the height of the pandemic ended this week, even as grocery prices surge.
The average food stamp benefit will come to about $6 per person per day.
Need I remind you that we passed a record $857 billion defense bill last year?

Im so tired of this bs we can’t afford things when we continue to spend absurd amounts into the military machine, though never enough for our vets. I have no idea how we’re ever going to change this and it is so damn frustrating.
