Who’s halfway decent at Excel and can help me out?

Column A - SKU name
Column B - Items sold in transaction

For example,

BLUE BOAT 2
BLUE BOAT 1
BLUE BOAT 1
TEAL SHOE 1
TEAL SHOE 3

Right now I’m doing =SUM(B1:B3) to calculate how many blue boats sold. This is dumb and forces me to do it manually for every SKU. What is the smart way?

@snazzyq SUMIF or SUMIFS. Feels like magic the first time you use it for a real task.
@snazzyq Or COUNTIF / COUNTIFS - depending on what you actually want to achieve. Syntax is the same.
