Problem with theory and practice: if you were writing for the masses, you need to write in the language of the masses. Uber collegiate archaic English is not it.
Advertising copy is at 6th grade reading level. That's the effective level. That's what you're up against.
@springdiesel It's possible to communicate a paradigm shift at a 6th grade level or younger, but not in the span of a tweet or toot.
@raithold Oh yeah of course not. I'm just really frustrated. I'm like educated and an avid reader, and reading theory is hard for me. So, what's it like for people who aren't those things?
