I was thinking and came to a conclusion I'd like to confront to reality: “Free Software” is a poorly chosen term. The reason I think that is that it's not the software that is free, as software, both proprietary or “free”, more or less always has the same constraints. The one who is free thanks to that software is the user. Eg. all 4 of GNU's essential freedoms regard the user. This is why, to me, “Free Software” should be called “Liberating Software”.
