Just seen that PortSwigger's Daily Swig is being cancelled. That's a shame, it was a useful and trustworthy source of information.

Happy to learn what other sources people are using.

We’re going teetotal: It’s goodbye to The Daily Swig

PortSwigger today announces that The Daily Swig is closing down

The Daily Swig

@garethwilliams there are lots of cybersecurity-related news websites, so rather than name (and no shame) specific websites, the steps i took to have sources to follow are:

1) subscribe to cyber-related keywords on LinkedIn.

2) follow various cyber news sites on LinkedIn (you could also do so on other social media platforms but I stick to LinkedIn cos it's a professional-oriented platform whereas others such as facebook I leave it for personal use)

one very good page to follow is this one that itself follows a lot of websites:

https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-cyber-security-hub/

3) when really news hungry, use a news aggregator and go wild:

https://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Technology/Cyber+Security

4) then, when something newsworthy happens, go on sites such as reddit (e.g. I went on reddit to check on LastPass and how Plex got implicated)
