The Recom 5V regulator seems to work fine, been playing the excellent Lester without issues. Great game BTW, highly recommended. The image might be ever so slightly more fussy with the new part in, it probably adds a bit more noise. No big deal, it's lousy composite only anyways. I've kept the old 7812, since a stable 12V supply is important for the VIC and SID. #commodore64 #lester
