A note on the TX legislation to ban web sites providing abortion information: This is set up in such a way that it is lawsuit heaven for right-wing religious fanatics. The state really doesn't have to get involved. Not only that, but people outside of the state could be sued in TX.

It's an insidious form of totalitarianism, where the citizens tattle on each other. Or, as it was called in Soviet Russia, "denouncing".

@mmeadway if they move against interstate commerce too many national firms and back will be screwed… so they would then back expanding the court perhaps.
