@inklings @jayrosen_nyu I suspect they’ll jump on it eventually, but it’s #MediaMalpractice IMO.

Btw, what I miss about the bird site is being able to tag #newsmedia outlets & journalists… which btw, is another #MediaFail (though I hate to admit, #mastodon isn’t making it an easy trade/transition).

The media’s job is to inform the public and right now id bet that 10% or less know this happened. A huge #mediafail.
