Yesterday, we had to let Bella go. Her cancer got the best of her.

Thursday was the last day that we had our Bella. All weekend, she got worse.

I could tell the way that she kept looking at me that it was time. It wasn’t easy but it is what she needed. #DogsofMastodon

@super_shat The hardest, kindest decision. Thank you for giving her what she needed in the before-times, and especially when she was most dependent on you, at the end. May your grief eventually wash the pain away and leave shining memories to carry forward.
