Geoffrey Gevalt@luckytran When I was an editor, I required the copy desk to check with the AP, NYT or whoever produced a story about a "scientific" study to determine who paid for the study. Without that, I forbid publication of the story.
I don't know who paid for this study, but your article is spot on. This study saying masks were ineffective is deeply flawed as you point out.
Consider masks on a personal level: Millions of long-covid sufferers are highly susceptible to infection. Wear a mask for them.
