Due to the income cap on Social Security contributions set in 1983, the typical CEO making millions running a big company only pays taxes on $160,200 worth of their income.

Meanwhile, the typical teacher or nurse pays taxes on every single dollar they earn.

How is this fair?

@rbreich I totally agree with you except…. Biden has painted himself into a corner on this one. He says repeatedly no one making under $400,000 a year will see a penny increase in their taxes. This is a “read my lips” moment.
