@throAU @axcheron They could have made an exception to comply with law enforcement. That's not tracking customers, it's tracking the lost child.
@Semilocon @axcheron sure. But requiring a valid paid account before the GPS tracking works is a way of ensuring not tracking without consent. Just saying they could have spun this story either way, and either way would be received badly.
