If you live in Britain and haven't joined already, I'd recommend looking into PAL - the people's alliance of the left.

I honestly can't see any other way, short of a coup within the Labour party or a long running general strike for there to be any representation of the British public in national politics.

@dave @ThelmaWalker Do you not think that splitting the vote would just help the Tories retain power? Perhaps if we had PR this would be great. Interested in your thoughts. 👍🏼

When there’s so little difference between the two main parties , it’s not splitting the vote. We need radical change. Electoral and constitutional reform is needed and it will be tough at first.
If it’s a hung parliament, independents and socialist MPs could have real power.:-)
