I have an S10.
I have a micro controller.
I have a 3D printer.

I now have one more project to add to the list, but it's a novelty for me to be a kink based one.

Now I've got to explore some of @kinkybiologist 3D files and see if I can adapt the lens ring to hold the LED ring and do a bit of diffusion 🧑‍🏭.

But I do NOT look forward trying over and over new lens ring. It is a PAIN to get on...

@Xantw0 let me know if I can help in anyway :)

@kinkybiologist Hey! I might take you up on that help...
I've been trying over and over printing your eye ring and kept having failed prints, or rather one that works until it passes the inner slot 😫
Filament ends up printing on nothing and ultimately doesn't adhere to anything...

I'm using a 0.4 nozzle, tried different resolution on Cura, even support (Cura wouldn't generate any, but Prusa Slicer did), but removing the support removes more ring than support...

Any advice?

Got something to hold the ring, with a white diffuser we shouldn't see the leds too much, but still have to figure out an eye clip method and see if the wire can go behind it nicely.

But I'm having issues with my printer that under extrude probably due to some clogged nozzle

The printer is back in business!
Ordered some Black TPU and Black PLA.
The test prints I did seems to fit just right on the original ring, but I'll need to make a version that includes the ring directly so that I can create some sort of channel for the wires.
Now struggling with fitting it right on the eye ring with TPU.
I think I got the dimensions right, but my 3D files has too much overhangs for it to print correctly.
I need to fix that first... But having to wait 1h between print takes SOOOO LONG
