Yesterday at #TablasCreek we petitioned the TTB to get #Muscardin recognized as the 348th grape in the federal register. This will be the 8th grape (after Grenache Blanc, Counoise, Picpoul Blanc, Bourboulenc, Vaccarese, Terret Noir, and Picardan) which we've sent in. That's about 10% of all the new grapes recognized since 1996!

@jasonchaas Thanks for sharing all this, Jason! It will make it a bit easier to get organized for the next time we have to petition for a grape name. And after seeing some of the super-strange names TTB has approved, I would think this will sail through, too.
