Just watched the Lightfall Launch trailer, and im feeling more confident about this theory that's been running around in the back of my head:
The Witness is not in our physical universe/reality/dimension/whatever.
Every time you see cracked glass it's a window into where The Witness is (trapped?)
And, the biggest ?? is ghost and the player(?) just getting sliced up.
I think a lot of this trailer (everything not on Neomuna) doesn't actually happen, but is a mirrage put on by The Witness
What’s interesting is that it flickers out before this happens, and then the sliced ship in the next scene is sparking, but I similarly feel inclined to not believe my eyes. Every trailer has got more all the more curious.
And if this is someone being killed, this is somehow way more terrifying than other means for some reason. You can see the helmet separating after turning to look.
