@Cjmellon it is, but the gun thing is appealing to a minority group who has historically lacked power and may need it now in direct form, they are probably college-educated, thus middle class and fairly well off, so also they magically do not care much for taxes, and like the TERFs, it leaves them with strange bedfellows. Its what happens when 350 million people must sieve their interests through two parties, and no more.
