@nealr ok dude, I think you need a minute of self-reflection.

As far as I can tell, Bouzy doesn’t maintain a presence on mastodon, has never posted here, and there is zero mention of him in BlackMastodon EXCEPT for your post. As near as I can tell, the only common connection you’ve made between him and that space is the word ‘Black’.

Here’s what I want you to reflect on:

You entered a space where people were discussing art, music, history, beauty and culture, pains and struggles and triumphs, all so that you could tattle-tale on someone who is not even here. Perhaps reflect on what you think BlackMastodon is and who Black people are.

@btanderson @nealr this was the exact thought I had.
@nealr @Lunarshocked I mean, it’s both manipulative and condescending, right?
@btanderson @nealr yeah and after looking into it, it appears to be a spat with the romance novel community? Ok, I have a friend who is in that community and they are kind of the worst when it comes to…like, not being *wrong* about the tech-bro nature of platforms but then NOT STARTING THEIR OWN. They did it on Tumblr, and Twitter etc and I’ve told my friend the same thing which is just to start her own platform. It does get tiresome talking to them from that perspective.
