I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my armor on my main #GW2 character. She's still in the full set of exotics I earned 1000 years ago running trains in Orr.

I've looked at the ascended sets, but am just a bit gun shy about making a decision on what path I'm going to go down to earn them.

Also I am cheap and have like 40 gold, so I'm not exactly sure how much buying my way to success I'll be able to tackle.

@kevinbrill if you’re happy with the stats and runes, then exotic armor should be quite sufficient, assuming you’re not getting into high-tier group content.

@sdskuld thanks for sharing! Maybe I need to tweak my build and runes a little bit then. I feel like I’m a bit underpowered compared to other folks I see in the open world.
