This man. Oh this man. One of the most humane men in America. Humble, kind, honest and compassionate. I am not a person of faith but I have read his book called “Faith,” and if Christians in America acted like that it would be a very different country. Jimmy Carter is a human worthy of the name. To me Jimmy is everything America should be, should aspire to be and he should be the inspiration of every child no matter what color, religion, gender or sexuality.

@SpockResists

I share your opinion whole-heartedly. Jimmy Carter is a model human!

@SpockResists we are on the same wavelength, Spock:

@SpockResists He is a remarkable person and one of the most impressive examples of a modern renaissance man. Did you know that he is considered a master furniture maker?

Jimmy Carter on Woodworking - FineWoodworking

In this essay, the former president talks about his love of the craft, its beginnings, and some of his most recent projects.

@SpockResists

He was also my first Presidential vote. I was heartbroken, and had no idea what awful policies Reagan would implement and inspire. I just thought he was the better man who got screwed by the secret negotiations by the Republicans with the Iranians.

@SpockResists
Perhaps we should ask “WWJCD?” – What Would Jimmy Carter Do?
@SpockResists if more Christians acted like Carter, Christianity would not be dying.
@SpockResists
Mensch. I hear the name Jimmy Carter, and that’s what immediately pops into my head. Mensch. May his last days be filled with the love and grace he gave to so many.
@RuthZ Well that’s a very good word to describe him
@SpockResists
If he were typical of Christians, I would have no problem with religious people, in office, or anywhere else.
He is a good man. Unfortunately, he is also not typical of Christians.
@SpockResists I remember going with my mom to vote in 1976 and she voted for Jimmy but didn’t want my dad to know because he wouldn’t approve. Jimmy Carter is what men should aspire to be, and we would have a better world. ♥️💙♥️
@SpockResists Absolutely! As an atheist, I really respect his form of Christianity, which is truly about being a good human being and respecting others. He is a true model for all.
@SpockResists My first presidential vote also. Never regretted it. A man who actually walks the walk & walks the talk. One of the kindest human beings to ever be president.
@SpockResists Mr Spock, beautifully said.
He has earned my respect.
He is a good Christian, good American, a good & decent man.
I am holding him in my heart & praying for peaceful passing over.
The world would be a better place if more followed his example.
I’ve read a few of his books and will now read “Faith”
@SpockResists Beautiful sentiment. I admired his ability to find purpose after the presidency& help others. #service #humanity #hustice🙏🏽

@SpockResists Jimmy Carter, as a 28yo Navy project manager, also helped save Canada from a nuclear meltdown. Just a wonderful person.

@SpockResists

Very well said. I was proud to have voted for him (both times). What a role model for us all!

@SpockResists 🫶🏻 100% this! 🙏🏼💕
@SpockResists America, be more like Jimmy Carter!!!!!💜
@SpockResists I volunteered for his campaign when I was in high school. Of course, the brainwasher capitalists had to convince everyone that he was weak and ineffectual, paving the way for Mr. Monopoly, who dismantled much of what made capitalism possible to live with. Everyone who came after continued this trend.
