Heron&Fox Photo#Playalinda #beach is perfect for #photographing #rocket launches, especially #AtlasV or #Falcon9 #launches.
There are multiple parking lots and boardwalk access to the #beach from Cape Canaveral National Seashore. From there, it is about a mile’s hike to the fence between #CCNS and #KSC / Kennedy Space Center. After the #launch (or #scrub), it’s another mile back to the boardwalk, on sand, carrying #photography gear.
But the launch is often worth it (few places you can *feel* the #sound of the engines), and sometimes the #view on the way back, looking over #MerrittIsland and #MINWR, is worth it too.
