Jeff Moore@YusufToropov John Quincy Adams was a damn good ex-president, and did stuff people should hear about—especially today. It doesn’t lessen #jimmycarter but rather elevates a lot of important things to say that he was a model ex-president, like JQA. And the model ex-president, I’m starting to believe, elevates important things beyond themself, even after death. Like JQA did. And, no doubt, Carter will. They lead us all after leaving office, and also beyond their lives.
