John Nihara@malwaretech what exactly is the problem? To backup/transfer click the three dots -> transfer accounts -> export/import account. Scan the QR and you are done.
Worst case scenario you print it out and store it in a safe place somewhere

2- I don’t get that Google Authenticator is any worse than others. Good practice in my book is to take the QR code they give you and NEVER scan it from your browser page. Print it out, take a screenshot, save it somehow and then scan THAT - AND save this QR code securely.
This means you’ve just scanned your backup, so you know it works.
