@joshuatopolsky I think the NYT has been bad for years because of stuff like this. The both-sidesing, the enabling of republican bullshit, the terrible conservative boobs writing op-eds, the famous "my neighbors, who are nazis, are just like regular folks.", etc. Worst of all, when this stuff appears in the NYT, the right wing can use it to advance their regressive agendas because they can say "even the ultra-liberal NYT says...". Awful stuff.
