It's like...proven that text verification is the worst, because it takes one call from a hacker to the wrong service rep to transfer your number to a new sim and steal your account.

Just another way Twitter Blue verifies the least-sophisticated users.

Maybe that's the point; they're the most likely to click on ads and believe whatever #ElonMusk tells them.

@w7voa I don't agree with the @elon in any way .. though I would strongly suggest people never use Text (SMS) based 2FA. App based or key based would be a much better alternative.
