@w7voa I pressed the 'Skip for now' button when I uninstalled the twit app.
@w7voa lol 😂 how dare your account be secure. You must pay for that now. Love Muskie #dontmisstwitter #twittertales
@w7voa only verication using text messages other Tools & Apps work
@w7voa It's just saving money, texts cost. Swap to an authenticator app...
@w7voa When trying to remove the TFA, it gives an error message. Is he rethinking or just not allowing the enforcement of it until the deadline? Hmmm
@w7voa Wow, what a clown show #Twitter has become lately.
@w7voa Wow. So you must pay more to be marginally safer (but not by much)?

@JenX @w7voa
It's like...proven that text verification is the worst, because it takes one call from a hacker to the wrong service rep to transfer your number to a new sim and steal your account.

Just another way Twitter Blue verifies the least-sophisticated users.

Maybe that's the point; they're the most likely to click on ads and believe whatever #ElonMusk tells them.

@JenX @w7voa Nope, it’s the opposite: you must pay more to maintain a less safe 2FA method. It’s like a monthly bribe to drive without a seatbelt.
@w7voa skip for now, skip forever
@w7voa "You have one month to avoid losing access to your account. Good luck to anyone not constantly online."

@w7voa Must was on about trying to make a deal with the service providers for it awhile back

I guess they told him off lol

@w7voa Wow Twitter is just getting worse and worse.
@w7voa I don't agree with the @elon in any way .. though I would strongly suggest people never use Text (SMS) based 2FA. App based or key based would be a much better alternative.
@w7voa *"If you were waiting for a sign to tell you to leave Twitter... well, here it is." 😅
@w7voa "If they won't love me willingly, then I will just have to start taking hostages." Sad little king of a sad little hill.
@w7voa Elon Musk's career appears to at this point be a series of self-owns which are comical to those of us who work in the industry and
somehow seem brilliant to his fans.

@w7voa

The joy of having already walked from Twitter and this sort of crap being a thing of the past.
