This is hardly news, but there’s a lot to like in the @MonaApp beta. I especially appreciate an app that respects my system’s dark mode setting (OFF). But the framing of boosts is too big and obtrusive.

Oh dear, the send button is way too small.

@drdrang @MonaApp Presentation of boosts was the first thing I customized. Some might hate ‘death by 1000 settings toggles,’ but that is the main appeal of Mona here, even if Ivory is gonna stay my main.
@ehler @drdrang @MonaApp that’s sort of my first take too. Ivory will be my main (tho I also really love Ice Cubes and what it represents), but the appeal of Mona for me so far is this customization.
@film_girl @drdrang @MonaApp To me it’s kind of like having extra photo editing or text editing apps. I’ll know Ivory the best and use it the most, but Toot! and Mona are there when I know there’s something I want to do in them slightly cleaner.
