Do you have a link to an article or press release that discusses the "pay for SMS" 2FA issue? The only thing that makes sense to me is dropping SMS in favor of an authenticator app.

@Green_Footballs "making people pay for basic security features" is certainly "a" route to take.
@Green_Footballs I setup an Authy passcode and then it allowed me to turn off SMS. So it looks like you just need to add an alternative in first before you shut it down.
