I'm not impressed with President Biden's statement on the #UFO #UAP shootdowns. Apparently we could mitigate against surveillance concerns with the #ChineseSpyBalloon, but not the other objects. Furthermore, the main reason for shooting them down appears to be that they were at commercial traffic altitudes. The current intel assessment is that the three other objects were balloons owned by companies or researchers. If that's true, are we scrambling fighters to intercept all the others that are probably out there still? The whole thing is a mess and validates that the government and especially the USAF and NORAD are behind the times on this important situation. https://www.youtube.com/live/rEibBLZXweA?feature=share&t=1476

How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline

The New York Times called it a “mystery,” but the United States executed a covert sea operation that was kept secret—until now

Seymour Hersh
@mastobit @taosecurity That post from Snowden is not doing him any favors. I agree the balloon issue is a distraction. But was it a manufactured distraction to pivot the public away from any discussion about Nord Stream 2? That's a big stretch. Hersh's story is flimsy on evidence and wasn't getting picked up by other media, so there's no need for the gov to distract from it. And if they wanted to distract, there are a lot of other things they could use to do this instead of shooting down spy balloons -- something that has made the gov look a little silly.
