Ron DeSantis is requesting medical records of trans students

6 of 12 universities are confirmed to have complied with the request, regardless of HIPAA violations

If a liberal did anything similar, you’d head right wing media talking nonstop about their freedom being violated.

But for some reason, if you attack our at-risk communities or apply the word “woke” then fascism is a-ok.

@flexghost Exactly what "medical records" would any university have on any student other than standard normally requested medical inform such as immunizations which more point in time health information than a medical record. And how would any university know which records are trans. The only way any university could comply to a medical records request is if they have provided medical services. Which would very much be HIPAA covered. What units/areas of these 6 university provide what kind of medical records? This a BS request.

@flexghost Even if these students have student health care, the universities would not/should not have any student’s medical record. They would be maintaining by the healthcare provider or student heathplan administrator. How in the hell did these six universities comply.

@flexghost Every university should know it is important that they do not maintain health records for students. Only the providers and plan administrators should have access to medical records.
