Anyone ‘round these parts work in corporate app dev?

Search in the #JewelOsco #iOS app is frequently broken. It’ll make suggestions as I type, but press return and ‘there is an error with our system.’

How does a company with this many resources mange to break such an important feature so often?

@chartier I used to work at Albertsons. The app was built to support all of their 20 different store brands, jewel being one of them. Typically the dev team tried to jump on major errors right away since apple will force them to fix a lousy experience. But it’s a tiny team overseeing tons of tickets from brands all over the country. Plus potential acquisition from Krogers. If your issue doesn’t rise to the top, it may be awhile.
