As the administrator of Australia's oldest still-operational Mastodon-compatible instance (now in its sixth year) I'd like to say that both places I'm involved in - Chinwag and The Blower - have continuity plans and a great deal of thought has gone into making sure they are not dependent on me alone to survive.

If I should burn out at some point, I will pass the administration off to another person or suitable organisation.

These communities are bigger than me and my whims, present and future.

Website Boy doesn't answer my emails either and that's just what happens on days ending in Y.
While this post is bouncing around, if you're a bored #Flutter dev and want to talk about doing something that'd be (I think) a pretty cool idea, drop me a DM.
@mike Thanks Mike - love ya work!

- Without Innovation, there isn't anything to work with. - Without Managing, the Innovation becomes something to argue about. - Without Maintenance, entropy destroys what we build. - Without Defences, both internal and external, then bad actors take over. - Without Succession, what you build dies with you. Solve these problems and you can create solutions that will last for centuries. :D
