Mac Justice@writesofway I grew up near SW Charlestown St, which everybody in my family calls “Charleston” like the SC city, but as I got older I noticed bus drivers and navigation apps usually fully enunciate the “town”, so I’m not sure which is the more correct version!
@macjustice I always figured it was pronounced -town instead of -ton but don’t know what was originally intended. On my list of things to find out!
