@joelle i think realizing that this isn't common knowledge might help turn this into a :) especially in facilitating conversations around "why are trans men so quiet/underrepresented/invisible"

@deilann also seems like it is relevant to the assumption that feminism as a whole is opposed to trans people (I get some criticism from the trans community when I self-identify as a feminist). As for reaources on history, Cristan Williams has done some fascinating writing on inclusive radical feminism.
