This may be weird to hear from a romance writer, but #valentines Day is so over the top on the commercialism and expectations that I don't grok it.

Also, my wife and I celebrate our #anniversary later in the month, which is when it makes sense to make the day special. In 2023 it'll be...hang on... holy cats. 46 years.
