Shannon@atomicpoet It's ridiculous and childish... but if people stay on Twitter, they really need to block his account. He shouldn't get to force people to see his words. It's a way to take back control of the Twitter algorithm. Force it to show you what you want.

@mike @atomicpoet In a way, Twitter does own him psychologically… he exists for it and gets his sense of self-worth from it. So, it’s a great observation.
@wasootch @atomicpoet Ya that's the vibe. I thought it would be a great story. An AI manipulating a billionaire, which as you say is, sort of what's happening. He's in a physicological/tech induced feedback loop.
@mike @atomicpoet Yes. Indeed. That AI is actually doing that to all Twitter users and some are more or less susceptible to it. The more followers you have, the more the the rewards of course... which then makes the temptations more and more difficult to resist. Musk is so addicted to it and his own life is so empty he has nothing to help him fight against the addiction (despite being so wealthy). So in a way the AI owns all the users, but him especially. And now he thinks to control the AI.
@wasootch @atomicpoet I certainly was for a time. Every like, retweet and new follower was an endorphin hit. Pavlov was in full effect. Musk is a full on addict, where 9 million engagements aren't enough, because it will never be enough.

@Crowjane @mike @atomicpoet The AI has made him think that. But now the AI has been disappointing him. His views and interactions are down. So now he's trying to force the AI to do what he wants. It's him trying to have some control over life... without understanding there is no control. He can't force everyone to respect him or to worship him.
