80 people were tasked with building an algorithm to maximize Elon Musk's reach!
And it resulted in an unusable Twitter experience!
I called it. Twitter engineers built this absurd "relevancy" algorithm purely so they wouldn't get fired.
People ask me, "Why do you post so much about Twitter?"
It's actually because I post a lot. But not just about Twitter, also Meta and TikTok and Reddit and Mozilla too.
Look at my recent feed.
Nevertheless, it's so hard *not* to post about Twitter when Elon Musk does so much ridiculous things!
And of course people like those posts because there's never been anything more surreal and silly than what's happening with Twitter right now!

Chaoddity@atomicpoet its also highly relevant to the whole landscape of the internet. Twitter was, despite being a private enterprise, being treated like a critical piece of infrastructure on the internet. Everyone had one in their profiles.
